Our friends of Cirqle Events are thrilled to invite you for a very special morning workshop in Wainscott, NY. Katonah Yoga founder, Nevine Michaan will guide you in diagnostic assessments, body readings which offer an enhanced understanding of yourself and of your body’s orientation in time and space. You will learn the tools, techniques, and blueprints necessary to develop a potent and sustainable practice that transcends yoga trends and shows you how to participate in your own well-being.
The goal of the theory and practices is to support your ability to live in your body joyfully, gracefully, effectively, efficiently and imaginatively.
- The class will be at a private home in Wainscott, you will receive the address after registering.
- Doors will open at 8:30 am. Come early to get body readings, interact with guests and get nourished.
- Wear yoga clothing.
- Bring your favorite props.
- Enjoy a light fare after class prepared by chef Stephen “Octoman” Fried.
Tanya Boulton will teach you techniques, anatomy, and specific ways of learning how to practice from your core. We will explore different methods on understanding a grounding foundation from your feet all the way through the mid-line of your body to help you bring more grace and ease with transitions and moving energy for optimal balance in your practice. Be prepared to ignite your core and understanding its connection to other parts of your body.
